Bites for Barbie

Omaha, NE

Story

For those who don’t know, Mom (aka Barbie Cooper) will be having surgery on her hip on December 11th. She took a fall at work that resulted in a torn tendon, and the recovery process is expected to be a long one. The first 3–5 weeks will be especially challenging, as she won’t be able to put any weight on her hip during that time — which also means she won’t be able to prepare meals for herself. To help make things a little easier, I thought it would be nice to arrange a meal train for her. Several people have already asked what they can do to help, and this seems like a simple but meaningful way to support her while she’s healing. If you’d like to contribute, it would be deeply appreciated — but please don’t feel any pressure. The main goal is just to make sure Mom isn’t trying to survive on ramen bowls while she’s recovering! ❤️

Special Notes

Even if you don't contribute via a meal, visitors will be welcome. We just ask you call or text beforehand to ensure she is feeling up for it.
