We started this meal train to support Cory and his family as they navigate the heartbreaking loss of their wife and mother. Cory has been devoted to Duke Life Flight for longer than some of us have been alive, always showing up with loyalty, hard work, and a steady presence. And Joy truly lived up to her name; she was such a joy to all, constantly cheering on Cory, their girls, their community, and us as a whole, by offering kindness and supporting us in big and small ways. In a time where daily tasks can feel overwhelming, providing meals is one meaningful way we can help lighten the load.
