Hi everyone. I’m a single professional with 18 years of work experience who has unfortunately been laid off twice recently. I live with my 19-year-old daughter who is currently a college student, and I’m doing everything I can to get back on my feet. I’ve been actively applying and interviewing for jobs while also going back to school to strengthen my skills. Unfortunately, the job market has been slower than expected and my savings are nearly gone. My mortgage is currently in forbearance, and I’ve had to rely on credit cards to keep the lights on and cover basic necessities, which are now maxed out. I don’t have family support or a safety net, so this has been incredibly stressful trying to manage everything on my own.
