We are coming together to support an incredibly special teacher, mother, and friend, Jaimie, as she faces a second cancer diagnosis after bravely overcoming it in 2020. Jaimie is the kind of person who shows up every single day with kindness, patience, and a genuine love for her students and her own two children. She has made such a meaningful impact on so many families, and now it’s our turn to show up for her. Jaimie will be undergoing surgery on May 21 and is expected to remain in the hospital at UCSF for about four days. As she begins this next chapter of healing and recovery, we are organizing meals and additional support to help ease the day-to-day burdens for her and her family. Providing meals, sending gift cards, or helping in small, practical ways can make a big difference during this time. Just as meaningful, Jaimie would truly love to receive letters, drawings, and notes of encouragement from her students, friends, and community. These will mean so much to her while she’s in the hospital and recovering. If you would like to send something directly to her during her hospital stay, we will update this page with her room information as soon as it becomes available. Thank you for surrounding Jaimie and her family with love, strength, and support. Every gesture, big or small, will help lift her up as she focuses on healing.
Please text Jaimie for her address when accepting a meal day or wanting to send something. The family enjoys restaurants like California Grill, Bangkok West, Cassidy's Pizza, Golden China. They don’t have any food restrictions. Leave food on shelf by door and text Jaimie 254-1678. In your text let Jaimie know if you are just dropping off or would like to visit.
