As you may know, Melissa had labral tear repair hip surgery in early December. Unfortunately, just before the surgery, Melissa's husband had to go out-of-town unexpectedly and will not be back for an uncertain length of time. Her Mom and sisters were able to come visit for the first week of surgery although had to return home (they live out-of-state); but Melissa's recovery will last another 12 weeks. Her biggest needs are rides to physical therapy and meals. Any support you are able to provide (see the Care Calendar) is deeply appreciated!
Melissa will update this site with needs as they arise over the next few weeks. Some needs are already posted. If you're able to provide transportation, physical therapy appointments typically last one hour. The PT office is about 2 miles from Melissa's house. If you’re able to provide a meal, drop-off in person is welcome! Door dash or E-gift card is also welcome! Whatever is easier for you is appreciated. Melissa has some new food restrictions - no green leafy vegetables, broccoli, brussel sprouts, asparagus, or anything high in Vitamin K
