Mary Moudy and her family are a part of our Hot Dog family at Frankfort High School. Unfortunately, Mary's mother, Karen Inman, passed away recently. We want to support them in these challenging times by providing financial support for her family. Whatever you can do to support her would be greatly appreciated! If you would like to read her mother's obituary, please see that below: Karen Rose Inman, born on February 12, 1944, in Noblesville, Indiana, departed this life peacefully on February 5, 2026, in Sheridan, Indiana, surrounded by her loving family. A proud member of the Sheridan High School Class of 1962, Karen embodied the spirit of hard work and dedication throughout her life. In her early career, Karen spent a few years working at Western Electric, but her true passion lay in nurturing her family. She was a devoted housekeeper and primarily focused on raising her daughters, mirroring her loving and caring nature. Known for her vibrant personality, she could never sit still and had an innate ability to make friends wherever she went, ensuring that no one was ever a stranger to her. Karen dedicated much of her life to pursuing hobbies that brought her joy, including quilting and gardening. These interests not only allowed her to express her creativity but also highlighted her nurturing spirit, as she took great pleasure in taking care of everyone around her. Her family was her proudest accomplishment, especially her grandchildren, who brought immense joy and fulfillment to her life. She is survived by her beloved daughters, Karen Inman (Phil Schultz) of Grayslake, Illinois, and Mary (Chris) Moudy of Frankfort, Indiana. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren: Sadie (Fiancé Ryan Jones) Schultz, Cora (Caleb) Brzezinski, Matthew Moudy, Max (Shelby) Moudy, and Chloe Moudy. In addition, Karen is remembered by her sisters Pam Ranney, Sue Stubbs, and Alice Book, and her brothers Robert and Mike Grimes. She also leaves behind several nieces and nephews who cherished their time with her. Karen was predeceased by her beloved husband, Charles "Chuck" Inman, in 2021, as well as her sisters Mary Rice and Patsy Grimes and brother Larry Grimes. The love she shared and the memories made will continue to resonate within the hearts of her family and friends.
