Hi, I’m Russell. To make a long story short, I moved to Texas hoping to get a fresh start, but things quickly started going downhill. First, my car crashed, which left me without reliable transportation. I eventually ended up at a homeless shelter, and while I was there, all of my belongings were stolen. Right now, I’m living out in the woods here in Texas and trying to figure out how to get my life back on track. I’m willing and ready to work. I’m sober, I’m mentally sharp, and I’m not looking for someone to simply take care of me. I just need a little help getting back on my feet and giving myself a chance to become self-sufficient again. Any money raised will go toward basic necessities like food and, most importantly, getting an inexpensive vehicle so I can get to work and start rebuilding my life. This site has some nice options for digital gift cards also. I know times are tough for a lot of people, so I truly appreciate anything anyone can do. Even if you’re not in a position to donate, sharing this fundraiser with your friends or on social media would mean a lot to me and could potentially reach someone who is able to help.
