On Sunday, August 23rd, Margarita unexpectedly had to undergo an emergency C-section, delivering her precious baby boy, Christopher Ray Jr., at just 26 weeks gestation. What was supposed to be an ordinary Sunday quickly became a day that changed everything for Margarita and her family. We are incredibly thankful that, at this time, both Margarita and baby Christopher are doing okay. Because Christopher arrived so early, however, he has a long journey ahead of him as he receives the specialized care he needs in the NICU and continues to grow and become stronger. We created this page as a way to surround Margarita and her family with love and practical support during this unexpected season. As Margarita recovers from her C-section, much of her time, energy, and attention will understandably be focused on being present for Christopher and navigating the days ahead. One simple way we can help lighten the load is by providing meals, gift cards, financial support, and most importantly, prayer. Whether you are able to provide a meal, send a gift card, contribute toward an immediate need, or simply leave an encouraging message, every act of kindness is appreciated. Above all, we ask that you continue to pray for baby Christopher—that his lungs and little body continue to strengthen, that he grows and develops well, that he remains protected from infection and complications, and that God gives wisdom to every doctor and nurse caring for him. Please also pray for Margarita’s healing, peace, strength, and endurance as she walks through this season. Margarita, you do not have to walk through this alone. There is a community standing beside you, loving you, praying for you, and ready to help carry some of the weight. “God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.” — Psalm 46:1
