Supporting Papa 🤍

Story

Hi everyone 🤍 I wanted to reach out because a lot of us have shared concerns about Papa spending more and more time alone. His days are starting to blur together, and as he gets older, there are also things he just can’t do as easily or safely anymore. I was hoping we could all try to commit to seeing him at least once a month. Even that small effort would help ensure he has at least one visitor each week and feels less lonely. A visit, a meal, groceries, or even just spending a little time with him would mean a lot. If you’re local, stopping by is wonderful. If you’re not, a phone call, DoorDash, or grocery delivery is just as meaningful. I know Dad and Gigi do an amazing job visiting, and as grandkids, I think we can all try to do a little more too. For meals, he’s very easygoing and not picky at all. He likes barbecue ribs, pulled pork, fried chicken, sandwiches, Chipotle, Rip City brisket, Popeyes chicken sandwiches, Whoppers, Big Boy — really anything. Even if he says he already ate, he’s happy to save it for the next day. Thank you all for considering this. Papa really needs us as he continues to age, and it would mean so much for him to feel more supported and remembered. 🤍
