My mother, a pillar of strength, has been diagnosed with stage II rectal cancer. Despite her challenges with mobility, standing for long periods, and the debilitating effects of treatment, her spirit remains unbroken. Shortly after her diagnosis, her husband received his own diagnosis of lung cancer. As they both undergo treatment, my mom's upcoming chemo infusions will undoubtedly be a challenging phase, impacting her energy levels.
