Project Philip was created in memory of Philip, a friend in our homeless community who recently lost his life to extreme heat. This week, a local church is opening its doors as a cooling station Monday–Friday from 2–6 PM, giving those in need a safe place to escape the heat, cool down, hydrate, and experience community. We need your help. You can give bottled water, fruit and snacks, volunteer your time, or simply come sit, listen, and have a conversation. Give an item. Give your time. Start a conversation. If you want to be part of what God is doing in our community, this is a simple opportunity to step in, serve, and change someone’s world.
