💔 Honoring the Life of Herman Barefield 💔 It is with broken hearts that we share the passing of Dr. Lakiea Bailey’s beloved father, Herman Barefield, who went home on Friday, September 19, 2025. No matter what was happening, Mr. Barefield was going to be there—he always showed up. A quiet and private man, he loved his family fiercely and lived as a devoted Muslim, guiding with faith, humility, and compassion. His presence was a constant source of strength, love, and wisdom for everyone who knew him. A Daughter’s Devotion Love shines brightest in moments of care. For years, Dr. Bailey, a devoted daughter, gave her all to support and comfort her father, making sure his days were filled with dignity, compassion, and warmth. She showed us what true devotion looks like—walking with him through every challenge, every quiet moment, and all the way to the end. Our Turn to Walk Beside Her Now that her caregiving journey has come to a close, it is our turn to walk beside her. Along with grief, Dr. Bailey faces the heavy weight of responsibilities and the need to find her footing again. No one should have to carry that alone. How You Can Help This fundraiser is about easing those burdens and uplifting her spirit while ensuring Herman receives the dignified farewell he deserves. We are seeking to raise $10,000 to cover funeral expenses and other family needs. Your generosity will provide peace of mind, allow the family space to heal and rest, and help them step into a brighter chapter. More than anything, it is a way to remind them that the love Herman gave so freely continues to surround them now. 🙏 In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to https://tinyurl.com/supportdrbaileyafterloss Every Gift Matters Every donation, every kind word, and every share makes a difference.
