Last Thursday (4/1), Gatlin’s cat got out, and after five hours of searching she finally found him—but when she went to pick him up, he scratched her deeply. What started as a stressful night has turned into a serious medical situation. Gatlin is now battling cat scratch fever, has been to the ER three times, and was hospitalized overnight this weekend. Her left hand is currently immobile due to severe swelling, making even basic daily tasks difficult. We’re raising support to help cover meals and ease the day-to-day burden on her partner and caretaker, Ashlee, during Gatlin’s recovery.
