Emily has dedicated her life to helping others find hope and healing. As a Certified Recovery Support Specialist at The Recovery Den, she has been a guiding light for so many people on their journey to recovery. Emily has been sober for eight years and has been involved with The Recovery Den since its beginning, first as a volunteer and now as a valued staff member. Her compassion extends beyond her work, she is deeply involved at Desperation Church and with 13 Life Ministries, where she helps minister to the unhoused community. On Black Friday, while Emily and her three children were out shopping, tragedy struck. Their home was destroyed in a fire, leaving them with nothing but the clothes they were wearing. Thankfully, everyone is safe, but they are now facing the overwhelming challenge of starting over from scratch. Emily’s most urgent needs are finding a new home to rent, securing a deposit, and providing groceries and clothing for her family, including her two school-aged boys and her oldest daughter, who is 20. Please sign up for a meal to bless Emily and her children. Any home-cooked or store-bought meal is deeply appreciated. If cooking isn’t possible, gift cards (Walmart, DoorDash, local restaurants, etc.) are also a wonderful option.
