We are asking for help for Kevin because this past year and a half has been an unimaginable uphill battle for him and our family. Kevin has endured four major surgeries in 2024 alone: February 14: Hernia surgery July 16: Cervical spine fusion November: Angiogram that revealed a 100% blockage in his femoral artery December 1: Bypass surgery on the femoral artery in his right leg Each surgery has come with pain, recovery, setbacks, and uncertainty. Because of these medical issues, Kevin has been unable to work for over a year and a half and is still not medically cleared to return. He has applied for disability but is still waiting for a response, and despite his medical reality, he was denied food assistance after being labeled “able-bodied.” This has left us in an impossible position—struggling to keep up with basic living expenses while Kevin continues to heal. Kevin is a fighter, but no one should have to fight this hard alone. Any support—whether dropping off a meal, picking up medicine, rides to appointments, financial, sharing this message, or simply sending encouragement—means more than we can express.
