WELCOME to our “Support Brett (Joel) Kido” webpage! Whether you are family, friend or client, we all know Brett as a warm, thoughtful and caring person with a sincere desire to support our health, comfort and well-being. Now, we are kindly asking for your support with his health and well-being. Last September, while celebrating his 49th birthday in Mesquite with friends, Brett suffered a seizure lasting over 30 minutes. He was transported the following day to Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas for treatment and evaluation. Brett has been diagnosed with an Astrocytoma Grade 3 brain tumor located in his right frontal lobe. A benign, low grade glioma was removed from this same location in 2021. Although this new tumor was removed a week after his seizure, Brett is now undergoing radiation treatment + oral chemotherapy. This treatment will run 5 days/week for 6 weeks. After his 6-week treatment, Brett will continue with oral chemo 5 days/month for 6 months. Brett’s most immediate need is for transportation to/from his treatments since he’s legally unable to drive due to the seizure. Jennifer will continue with her Sports Club services schedule, limiting her availability. This page offers a calendar where you can easily sign-up to provide transportation services for Brett. Please feel free to register for those dates/times you’re available to drive Brett to his treatments. We will continue to monitor his progress and share updates here as needed. Brett, Jennifer and family would like to express their sincere gratitude for your support. Your care, love and encouragement will undoubtedly help to accelerate Brett’s recovery.
