Care & Meals for Ali

Fayetteville, GA

Story

Last Friday, August 15th, Ali went in for what should have been a simple surgery to remove a pilonidal cyst, after over 8 years of being put on hold. While Ali was under anesthesia, the doctors discovered a golf-ball-sized hematoma, which they removed post-surgery without anesthesia or cauterization, in addition to the cyst. After being released, she unfortunately experienced serious complications with bleeding heavily and had to be rushed to the ER. There, her medical team found that the drain for her cyst was dysfunctional, and the site where the hematoma was removed was still bleeding. The recovery has been very painful, with basic tasks being difficult to accomplish. Let's surround dear Ali with love & support during this difficult time. Basic care, care supplies*, light housekeeping, meals*, and company would be greatly appreciated. While complete recovery time is estimated in two weeks, let's plan to support her over the next month, but especially in the ***next two weeks.*** *See Special Notes!
