THE BAD PART: Starting over at 55 year's old after being in a DV marriage and going through a divorce in which i was threatened if i asked for anything in the divorce there would be consequences so i signed my name and was left with nothing but my close and my car that was in my name before we got married but I was free and that feeling was worth more then anything i had to leave behind. But i had no place too go so i been living out of my car for the past several months, my friends and family don't know that im homeless, living in my car because im embarrassed to tell my friends and i don't want my adult children worrying about their mother it shouldn't be that away (i will tell them when I have a place of my own) there's more to my story but ill leave it here for now. GOOD NEWS: Just yesterday i received a phone call from the local housing authority telling me that there was a 1 bedroom available next week and was i still interested, I immediately said yes without hesitation, and then I started thinking I don't have ANYTHING to even put in an apartment but im to grateful and blessed to even worry about that right now, so when i went to the library to get copies of paperwork the lady asked oh.. i live at the same apartments if you need any help moving id be happy to help just knock on my door im # 6 i told her i lost everything ( didn't go into details) so i don't have much to move but thank you, she told me about Give In Kind and that's what lead me to y'all ❤️ so Im reaching out looking for anyone to help me start over with basic living needs such as a bed, couch, table, dresser, towels, pots and pans ect.. i do have a job and every bit that i get today and next week will go towards the first months rent, deposit for the electricity and water .
