Currently, Kelsey is at KU Med Center in Kansas City where she will undergo initial chemotherapy treatment, as well as a clinical trial with a medicine that targets her specific type of cell mutation. She will be in the hospital away from her children Henry (age 8) and Emilia (age 5) for 30 days and then have a bone marrow transplant and be in Kansas City for 90 days for that process.
