Hellooo, so I've been pretty private about all of this after Maverick was born.... but now the cats out of the bag and I'm singing my story. So- Mavericks entire pregnancy, I was told I had "placental masses" and his growth had to be monitored extremely closely... weekly scans, infusions, plus working 24 hrs shifts. It was an extremely taxing pregnancy, well fast forward to month 8 or 9 and we're told oooohh the masses weren't on the placenta! No they are on/in your uterus.... Great. After tests and whatnot- They were found to be fibroids that developed and grew significaltly due to pregnancy hormones. So 2 weeks after I give birth to a perfect baby Maverick........ I LOSE my OB due to insurance issues (they didnt want to pay the premiums for the dr anymore and removed them from the plan). I paid cash for 2 more appts after that and was told I needed immediate surgery based on my bleeding post partum, it was SEVERE..... mind you I was breast feeding 100% and basically hemorrhaging continuously and then I had to research, get established with, and have surgery with a new OB group. Finally did that and surgery didn't end up working due to my fibroids locations mainly. Plus I have adenomyosis. Part of them were able to be taken out. Severe bleeding, pain, and significant anemia continued.... I went back from maternity leave to working Full time and 24 hr shifts, oh and breast feeding STILL ๐ช I luckily work for a wonderful company that allowed me to keep working and I was able to change to the work from home team and I decreased my hours all while working from home..... Granted, at the loss of benefits. Multiple treatments later, infusions, and attempts at trying to stop the pain and bleeding, I am having a Total hysterectomy in just less than 2 weeks. Again my job is working with me ๐๐๐ This "meal train" is being used simply to set our family up for success. To help make that recovery process that much easier. I can not drive for a few weeks, nor can I lift anything more then 10 lbs..... (tell that to a 33lb MOMMAS BOY toddler) The minimal recovery time before activity clearance is 2 weeks..... it can span up to 8 weeks depending on surgery complications and how well I heal. Ian has filed for FMLA at his work for protection. but still will need to return shortly after my surgery. He will be caring for the entire family while I am on the mend, including the animals, the kids, and ME. So with that being said getting some meals stocked, frozen, ready to go and easy for him and the kids is a goal of mine before Nov 6th (my surgery date). If money is sent to us, I will use it this next week to get meals prepped and frozen. Thank you for taking the time to read this. โก I appreciate you more than you know.
Grey is allergic to Kiwis. Other than that the kids and Ian love Pasta dishes. Maverick loves burgers and fries ๐๐๐ I'm not going to be picky.
