Jim recently suffered a serious fall and is currently in the hospital with an injury to his C6 vertebra, a bruised spinal cord, and several brain bleeds. His doctors are optimistic that he will recover with time, but right now, the path and timeline for recovery remain uncertain. Jim is expected to remain in the hospital for several more days and will likely transition to a rehabilitation center as he continues to heal. Erin and the girls have been by his side each day, navigating a lot of uncertainty while trying to understand what comes next. They appreciate home-cooked meals whenever possible. Because schedules can be unpredictable, please choose meals that can be left on the porch if they aren’t home when you arrive. Gift cards for meal delivery services such as DoorDash or Uber Eats are also greatly appreciated and offer a helpful alternative on busier days.
