Helping hands for Kelly

KNOXVILLE, TN

W
Story

Kelly has had issues with her left shoulder for about ten years. What she thought was her shoulder was actually her cervical spine all along. She waited quite a while to address this and recently found out she had waited too long. Unfortunately, that led to the decision to proceed with cervical fusion surgery from C4-7. There was no other option due to the severity of the degeneration and nerve blockage affecting her arms, hands and diaphragm. Kelly will be having surgery at Park West Medical Center on Monday, April 13th. She will likely be in the hospital for two to three days following the surgery. This will be followed by a lengthy recovery at home over the next several weeks. Thank you so much for your kind and compassionate support of Kelly (my mom) and our family as she enters into a season of recovery! Your prayers, meals and time are a wonderful gift and encouragement to all of us that we want to thank you for in advance!
