Caylee was born with esophageal atresia. With that she has had a feeding tube since birth and a tracheostomy since she was 6 months old. She is a spunky 5 year old now, despite all her medical challenges. God has a BIG plan for her! She has been in and out of the hospital for all of 2026, with another surgery coming at the beginning of November that will have her in the hospital for at least a week, possibly longer, depending on full extent of the procedure and how long her recovery is. Her most recent admission was very traumatic for her and she has developed quite a bit of anxiety. She didn't want me to leave the room at all, so the less I have to be away from her, the better. She is unable to fully communicate her needs and prefers either her daddy or me with her. Unfortunately, her dad will have to work this time. Any and all help is greatly appreciated. Each hospitalization creates an even larger hole that we are sinking in to with trying to stay afloat financially We also have 2 other children still living at home, boys aged 16 and 10.
Caylee is strictly TPN and J tube dependent at this time.
