UPDATE: Hi everyone. We have an update on Pat for you. Today Pat will be moving into Jill’s house with Jill and her family. This will be a good arrangement for Pat as she goes through her cancer treatments and is a wonderful offer from Jill. Last night Jill explained that her door will be open to visitors at all times so we can visit Pat freely. Jill and Clark and their two high school aged children live at 817 Bocage Lane, Mandeville LA. 70471. That’s in Beau Chene. Feel free to mail cards for Pat to Jill’s home. Further, it would be helpful for us to restart our meal calendar for them on this website. We can deliver to Jill’s house. We’ll start out with dinner and see how that goes. Please keep Pat in your prayers as she goes through this difficult journey. And a huge thank you to Jill and her family. Jill’s email is [email protected] and you can text her directly at 504 577 5425.    SUPPORTING OUR FRIEND, PAT BRISTER, THROUGH HER CANCER TREATMENTS Pat went to the doctor in December only to find out that her breast cancer of 10 years ago seemed to have returned. Further testing showed that the cancer metastasized to her liver. Brain and lung are clear. Fast forward to today. Doctor Saux whom many of us know is treating Pat. She goes to chemo school on Monday, January 16th and starts her chemo regimen on Tuesday, January 14th at 2:00 at Mary Byrd Perkins in Covington. First time for Pat ten years ago she was blessed to have Joe by her side. Joe is watching over her from above and needs us to step in for him and for her. Thus the purpose of this webpage. Pat would appreciate tremendously our care moving forward. This can include preparing meals, going to the grocery store or drugstore when needed, going to a doctor’s appointment or treatment with her. Having never used this page before we’re hopeful this will take care of that for us!!
