Jayna had a terrible fall lost her footing and tripped over the edge of the concrete slab of the patio. She went top of skull head first into the back door of her garage. Unfortunately she has Compression fractures to her thoracic spine T 2-4 and a tibial plateau fracture to her right leg. She is required to be immobilized and non weight bearing until she follows up with ortho Friday at 9am and she sees the back Dr on Monday. She is currently on crutches but is working on getting a walker. She is applying for short term disability as she won’t be able to work under these conditions. 😭😥 As you know she is the full-time caretaker of her mom who has dementia so she’s definitely going to need help during this time so I thought I would start this meal train.
