Get Well Scott - 35 Year Old Stroke Victim Recovery

Denver, CO

Story

During the early morning of Saturday, July 19, 2025, 35-year-old Scott Davis collapsed in his bathroom while at home with his fiancée. Upon arriving at the hospital via ambulance, Scott was diagnosed as having suffered an ischemic stroke and was partially paralyzed on the left side of his body. Scott spent three days in the intensive care unit while on a feeding tube and under close supervision. Scott has since regained partial function in his left leg and is fighting hard in rehabilitation to regain the ability to walk and the use of his left hand while still in the hospital. Scott is not expected to be discharged from the hospital until August 17th, 2025, and will spend his 36th birthday on August 9th in the hospital. Scott has already expended all his paid time off from work while hospitalized. He will likely be unable to return to full duty at work for another five months following his release, as his rehab continues at home. Scott is his family's primary source of income. He will be unable to work for so long that he faces difficulties paying for his rent, groceries, medical equipment, and mounting hospital bills. His fiancée, Kaitlyn, cannot drive and has relied on Scott for transportation. With him in the hospital, Kaitlyn has been forced to use rideshare services for transportation to and from work, grocery trips, and other errands while Scott has been in the hospital. Any assistance is greatly appreciated.
