Kendra is scheduled for a grueling surgery at UNMC in Omaha on Thursday, August 27, to address Thoracic Outlet (TOS) & Pectoral Minor Syndrome. The surgery is quite invasive including the removal of her first rib, two sections of scalene muscle, a pectoral release and scar tissue "excavation" of the nerves in her upper left shoulder. She is expecting a 4-6 day recovery at the hospital before being released for home. Once home, she will be on severely restricted activities and undergo long term intensive physical therapy. Josh, Reese, and Everlie could use some extra support while Kendra works through her long term recovery.
