As many of you know, Dan’s cancer has progressed. Recent scans showed that the tumor near his spine has grown into his spinal cord. His medical team has advised Dan and Erin that there are no further treatment options. Because of the location of the tumor and Dan’s condition, surgery and radiation are not possible. Dan is home on hospice, where he’ll be surrounded by the people who love him most. The focus now is making him as comfortable as possible and spending this precious time with the people who love him. Many of you have asked how you can help. One of the biggest ways to support their family right now is by helping with meals. If you’re able, please consider signing up to send/deliver a meal or sending a restaurant or grocery gift card that they can use on days when preparing food isn’t possible. Your kindness, prayers, messages, and support mean so much to Dan and Erin. Thank you for helping Erin and the kids care for Dan during this time and for surrounding their family with so much love.
