Many of you know Stephanie as the incredibly kind, generous and caring person she has always been. And you couldn’t be more right! We have been friends since grade school, and I can honestly say she is one of the nicest people I have ever met. She is now facing a fight nobody should have to face. Recently, while breastfeeding her beautiful baby girl, Stephanie found a lump. After scans, biopsies and further testing, she was diagnosed with aggressive breast cancer that has also been found in one lymph node. The good news is that it is contained and treatable. The road ahead, however, is a long one: with16 rounds of chemotherapy, surgery, radiation and 10+ years of hormone therapy. Stephanie has two beautiful little ones at home, and right now her focus needs to be on getting through treatment, healing and being there for her babies—not worrying about dinner, grocery shopping or the unexpected expenses that come with cancer treatment. Several friends, family members and former coworkers have already reached out asking, “ What can I do?” So I created this page as one place where we can surround Stephanie and her family with practical support. ❤️ HOW YOU CAN HELP 🍝 Bring or send a meal If you live nearby, you can sign up to prepare and drop off a homemade meal. If you’re farther away or don’t have time to cook, you can help by arranging a meal delivery. 🍕 Send a restaurant or delivery gift card DoorDash, Uber Eats, local restaurants, grocery stores—whatever makes feeding a family of four a little easier during treatment. 💵 Help with expenses Cancer treatment comes with so many unexpected out of pocket expenses. If you’d like to help financially, you can contribute directly through Stephanie’s Venmo below. There is absolutely no obligation or expectation to give. Every amount helps and can take a little bit of financial pressure off her family during this difficult time. 💙Send some love A text, card, message, funny meme, prayer or simple reminder that she’s not alone can mean more than you know. Also, please keep Stephanie, Daniel. Maverick and Camila in your thoughts and prayers as they navigate the next several months. She’s got a hell of a fight ahead of her, but she’s got an entire army behind her. Let’s help carry some of the weight so she can focus on what matters most: beating this thing and getting back to the beautiful life she loves 💙 Thank you to everyone who shows up for Stephanie in whatever way you can. It truly takes a village!
