Hi my name is Latouris Bell and I’m the mother of 6 year old Macree Snelling. I’m devastated, heartbroken, and numb. I appreciate the community support. Lagrange community is mourning the loss of 6-year-old Macree Snelling, who was struck by a vehicle Thursday at the Whispering Pines Apartment complex on Hogansville Road in Lagrange. According to witnesses, Macree was hit by a landscaping truck just a few feet away from his family's apartment. His 9-year-old brother, who was outside at the time, witnessed the tragic incident and ran to tell their mother what had happened. "I feel like I'm in a movie—I feel like it's an out of body experience. A nightmare, a dream that you can't wake up from. He was just a special kid, an energetic kid, that always had energy and on the go. He would brighten up the room when he walked in."
