❤️ Help Me Give My Son a Christmas He Deserves Christmas is supposed to be a time when children feel loved, remembered, and excited about what’s waiting for them under the tree. But for my son, things have been a lot harder than they should be. His dad and I haven't been consistently present in his life, and I carry a lot of guilt and sadness knowing that there have been moments when he has had to feel that absence. No child should have to wonder why the people who are supposed to be there aren't always there. This Christmas, I'm not asking for anything extravagant. I'm asking for a little kindness from people who understand that sometimes a child doesn't need much to feel remembered. A wrapped gift. A new outfit. A favorite toy. A stocking filled with little things. Something that tells him, “You matter. People are thinking about you. You are not forgotten.” I'm hoping to put together a Christmas that gives him some happiness and lets him experience the excitement that every child deserves.
