Story
My name is Addysin "Addy" Mollendor, a senior at Ocean Springs High School and a two-time Mississippi State Wrestling Champion (114 lb). Wrestling since 7th grade, I became one of the first girls to lace up a singlet in our state. Now, after a stellar 33–3 junior season, I’ve qualified for the U.S. Marine Corps Junior Nationals in Fargo, ND (July 10–19, 2025)—making me one of the only girls from Mississippi heading to this national stage. Why This Matters: Women’s wrestling in Mississippi is just beginning to bloom—and I want to lead the way. By competing at the highest level, I hope to show girls across our state that with grit, discipline, and community support, we can achieve anything. This is not just my dream—it’s a pathway for others to follow. Our Goal & Wishlist: We've set a goal of $4,000 to cover travel, lodging, gear, meals, and competition fees. Wishlist items include: Airline tickets or gas gift cards Hotel gift cards And of course, cash donations via Venmo / PayPal / GoFundMe to fill any gaps. How You Can Help: Donate: Choose to give cash or gift cards—it’s seamless and flexible! Share: Spread the word on social media or within your network—#MississippiWrestles #Fargo2025. Engage: Follow along and leave a message of encouragement—your support means the world. Your support does more than fund a trip—it fuels the future of girls’ wrestling in Mississippi. Let’s raise $4,000 together and show the country what our community can do. Thank you for investing in the next generation of champions!
