Recently, Katie was diagnosed with breast cancer. Thankfully, after further testing they discovered that it has not spread and is the most treatable form. Her doctor is optimistic and treating aggressively but appropriately. She will be doing chemo, surgery, and then radiation. She has to do eight rounds of chemo every two weeks on Wednesdays We want to rally behind the family during this transition. It's important for her to have the ability to give her body the rest she needs post Katie and her family need the support of our community to help them as they navigate the tough days ahead.
