Our mom/granna was diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma of unknown origin in summer of 2025. She has been a fighter! In May of this year, she began a trial at MD Anderson in Houston. She made weekly trips to MD Anderson for 2 months. At her most recent PET Scan, it showed that she wasn’t responding the way they had hoped, so they had to end that trial. They found a new trial for her though and she will again resume weekly trips to MD Anderson to receive treatment. The expenses have been piling up, coupled with loss of her income while she is unable to work. We are starting this to help with the extra travel expenses and loss of income.
