Jim was involved in a ATV accident at our lake house Saturday September 26th and had to be taken to the hospital. The great news is… He is going to be okay. We thank God every second for this truth… but his wrist & hand, however, have a long road ahead. He has a broken wrist and significant injuries to his hand, separated shoulder, black eye, & bruises and scrapes everywhere. We are still waiting to see exactly what the next stages of healing will look like with a possibility of additional surgery and some other procedures.. but right now, we are just focused on one day at a time. There are also a lot of unknowns ahead…. but we currently have 3-4 weekly appointments with his surgeon and wound care. SO MANY of you have reached out and asked what you could do, wanted to provide support, and practically demanding us to give you something that we need, which although we are never that great at receiving, we are deeply appreciative! We felt creating this site was the best way for you to support us if you feel called! We can't thank everyone enough for all the love, prayers, support, and those who have brought or sent meals, gift cards, care packages, etc! It has been SOO helpful and very much appreciated!
