Love for Lewis 💙💙💙

Note from Rachel Warneking: Yesterday morning, after some seizure-like behavior, Lewis was rushed to the hospital. By the afternoon, we received the diagnosis of infantile spasms. Our hearts are broken. We’re feeling fear of the unknown and wishing this didn’t have to be a part of his story. Over the next few weeks, he will begin treatment and undergo an MRI, EEGs, and further testing as we seek to understand what’s happening and how best to help him. We are asking our people to pray boldly—for protection over his mind and body, that the spasms would stop, and that no further damage would occur. There are so many things we don’t know right now. But there is one thing we do know. God gave us the name Lewis Valor—our little unconquerable warrior. He gave us Joshua 1:9 as his life verse: “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” We know He is a loving Father, and we trust that He will see us through. And still, we grieve. We plead for healing. We wait. Please pray for our little warrior. 💔
