This family means so much to me, and I wanted to create this meal train to help love and support them during such a heartbreaking time. In December of last year (Pawpaw) Mr. Raymond was diagnosed with mucosal melanoma. In the short time he battled this disease, he fought hard with incredible strength and faith. He was quick witted, funny, and always knew how to make people smile with his famous phrases like “oooook,” “Hey babe,” “let me ask you something,” “hey bud,” and “whatcha up to.” He leaves behind a beautiful family who meant everything to him, his wife Brenda (Mawmaw), 2 children, 5 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and 2 brothers. He loved God and Jesus deeply, was very active in his church, and bragged about his family every chance he got. More than anything, he wanted to see the people he loved happy and thriving. Thank you for every prayer, meal, and act of kindness shown to this amazing family during such a difficult time.
