Hello! On the early morning of June 29th, there was a fire that affected 4404 Haverhill. While the devastation is real, the only silver lining is that our neighbor, Rachel C., was not in the house at the time. That said, she was in another state seeking medical help for health-related issues. Rachel C. is a hard worker who is currently facing displacement from her home and the need to repurchase even basic amenities. With her permission, I'm trying to organize some flexible support that Rachel C. can use for her ongoing needs. Here's what I'd like to provide for her: *A Walmart gift card for $300, so she can start to replenish her basic amenities including soap, shampoo, etc. *A Visa gift card for $200, which she can use for gas as she commutes to work over the next couple of months *Something for joy, like an AMC gift card.
