This page was created as many people have reached out asking how they could help or send support to Dalton and his family. At the moment, this felt like the best way to organize and coordinate support during an unexpected and demanding time. Over the past three months, Dalton has undergone three open-heart surgeries and this marks his second stay in the ICU. His mom, Krista remains at the hospital with him around the clock, while his dad, Bryan is at home caring for Dalton’s siblings and continuing to work. This ongoing medical journey has required the family to split their time and responsibilities while staying focused on Dalton’s recovery. This page simply serves as a way to ease some of the day-to-day burdens so the family can focus on being together and supporting Dalton’s healing. They are deeply grateful for the overwhelming love, prayers, and kindness that have surrounded them.
At this time, gift cards such as DoorDash, Visa, or Venmo are most helpful, as they allow flexibility with work, school, dance, and hospital schedules. These can be used for Bryan to grab dinner after work for him and the kids, for Krista to have meals delivered to the hospital, and eventually for Dalton once he’s able to eat more. Home-delivered meals are also welcome, but never expected, as coordinating timing can sometimes be difficult. Once cleared by his care team, Dalton loves Chick-fil-A and Chipotle as hospital food can get a bit “boring” after a while, according to him.
