I wanted to update everyone with what has been going on with our little family. Wednesday, Allison and Amy(aunt) took Cooper to the ER because he’s been dealing with some constipation issues for a while. What a whirl wind that tured into. Praise the Lord, one of the doctors came to check on him after hours of being there and really listened to concerns and asked for some additional things to be checked out. Turned out Coop was experiencing heart failure and was the root of his issues and we were sent to TX Children’s in the Med Center. That doctor was a God send and has been texting Allison checking on us ever since. We aren’t sure what caused this issue or what the solution is but I do know he is making progress and we are waiting on several tests and results to come back to determine cause and full treatment plan. Please say a prayer for Cooper, Allison and Joey & keep them in your thoughts. Momma hasn’t left his side and doesn’t plan on it either.
At this time there’s no specific timeline of when he may come home but we do know they will be in the med center at Texas childrens for 2 weeks as we wait on results etc. and then the hope and prayer is they can treat him out patient. We wish we had more specific information to share but right now we don’t. What we do know is this not something that is cureable it’s something that we hope will be manageable. It was said that he will be under the care of cardiologist the rest of his life. Thank you from the bottom of our family’s heart for the love, prayers and support. Please keep big brother and sister in your prayers as we try to keep their life as normal as possible and bring them to see Cooper and momma as much as possible! Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go We also just would like to let everyone know that wants to help given the severity of coopers condition while he is in the hospital only very few immediate family members are allowed to visit. ❤️
