We started this fundraiser because Jason needs a full-size bariatric medical bed that can safely accommodate his medical and daily care needs. Jason lives with Nemaline Myopathy, uses a wheelchair, and depends on a tracheostomy and ventilator for breathing. A properly sized adjustable medical bed would provide him with better positioning, comfort, safety, and accessibility while also making it easier for his caregivers to assist with his daily needs. The most helpful support right now is financial assistance toward purchasing the bariatric medical bed. Every donation, no matter the amount, brings us closer to providing Jason with the safe and comfortable sleeping environment he needs.
