We are currently facing a very difficult time due to ongoing health issues and financial hardship. I was recently diagnosed with Empty Sella Syndrome, and doctors have also found a lesion on my thyroid that is still being tested for possible cancer. These health challenges have limited my ability to work consistently, though I am doing everything I can—including DoorDashing when I’m able—to bring in income. My husband has been approved for disability due to compression fractures in his back that severely limit his mobility and ability to work. While we are grateful for that support, it has not been enough to keep up with our expenses. To make things harder, our tax refund—which we were relying on to catch up—is currently being held. We’ve fallen behind on essential bills and are now at risk of losing our home. We don’t really have any dietary restrictions other than my daughter who is also working and trying to help this is all allergic to tree nuts. Right now, getting groceries and things like that is what’s the most important so that we can keep ourselves fed and also feed our dogs
