Our dear friend Leonardo Cortes and his family could use our support right now. Leonardo, father of Liliana, Leonardo, Evelyn, Elizabeth, and husband of Marcela, as well as grandfather of Olivia, suffered a stroke on Sunday, August 10th, underwent a major surgery and was in a coma for 2 weeks. Unfortunately, he passed away on Sunday, 8/24/25. Leonardo and his family have given so much love and support to others, and now it's our turn to return that kindness. They are drawing on their strength and faith in God to process this devastating loss and we can help by creating a blanket of love and support around them. The most practical way we can help right now is by making sure they have one less thing to worry about: meals. By providing a meal, we can remind them to take a moment for themselves and eat. This small act of care can make a huge difference during this time of grief. If you can't provide a meal, please consider offering a small financial contribution, as medical bills have accumulated. Most importantly, let's lift this family up in our prayers. They are asking for spiritual support and prayers for healing and comfort, and for strength to get through each day.
