Update on my brother-in-love, Joe Huckaby: As many of you know, Joe has been courageously battling Glioblastoma brain cancer for the past year and a half. Despite his incredible strength, the cancer has become very aggressive, and Joe is now at home under palative Hospice care, surrounded by the love of Shayla and his family. Shayla has stepped away from her career to care for Joe full-time, and the emotional and financial strain have been overwhelming. Between medical expenses, travel, missed work, and everyday bills, they need our help now more than ever. I’ve been in Destin for a month helping care for Joe alongside Shayla, and I’ve seen firsthand the love, strength, and exhaustion she carries every day while caring for him through this heartbreaking time.
