Cory was seriously injured at work this week, below is a message from his mom, Lisa.... Yesterday I got the phone call every parent fears, “your son has been in an accident, it’s bad, he’s breathing but you need to get here fast” Cory was at work on a golf course when a horrible accident happened. A co2 canister exploded and shot the top off and threw him in the air, dislocated his shoulder and hit him in his jaw. His jaw is broken in several spots and the bones are all in the wrong places. He is missing several teeth. He is in the ICU and will be having surgery Thursday. Please please keep him in your prayers as he has a long road ahead to recovery. Poor kid won’t have the 21st birthday or the summer he thought it he was going to have but he’s alive.
I really wanted to do something to help out Andrew and Lisa's family. By providing meals and gift cards, they can focus on taking care of Cory and not worry about what they are having for dinner! The Hemberger Family likes most restaurants, skip the seafood please and pizza always works! Cory will most likely have his mouth wired shut but once the medical team provides instructions on how to keep him fed and we'll nourished, we will share an update!
