Hey friends 🤍 I wanted to share a quick update and ways we can show up for Alicia, Chelsea, and the boys right now. Chemo and radiation haven’t brought the relief we were hoping for. Chelsea finished 30 rounds of radiation, but her pain has gotten worse. She’s now on around-the-clock meds, with hospice helping keep her comfortable at home. Right now, the focus is on supporting her body and keeping her as comfortable as possible. This next month is really important. If you’re able to help: • Bring a simple, nourishing meal (organic, low sugar, lower carb is best) • Spend a few hours with Chelsea — just being there, encouraging her, helping her stay on track • Come once a week or every other week if you’re local This is a heavy season, and Alicia is carrying a lot. Showing up in small, consistent ways truly makes a difference. Thank y’all for loving them so well 🤍
Meal Preferences & Guidelines Right now, they are prioritizing organic, whole-food meals with no added sugar and lower carbohydrates to best support Chelsea’s healing. At this time, please avoid: • Seafood • Peanuts or anything containing peanuts • Gluten (they are trying to avoid it as much as possible due to stomach issues during treatment) That said — please don’t let this feel overwhelming. Even meals that simply feed Alicia and the boys are incredibly helpful and deeply appreciated. They are focusing on clean, simple meals. Nothing fancy. Nothing heavy. Fresh, gently prepared foods with straightforward ingredients are best. If you’re unsure whether something fits these needs, please don’t stress. Gift cards or grocery drop-offs are always a safe and helpful option. If you have questions, feel free to reach out to Janell directly: 📞 904-217-2654 Every bit of support truly matters.
