Support for my mother who had a stroke

my mother suffered from a stroke recently in December of 2025. she had the stroke whilst on vacation for her birthday in barbados. due to the negligence of the hospital in barbados, her recovery was setback. they had her sitting in a chair for 2 days before her finally being seen, despite taking immediate action considering that a stroke should not be taken lightly. she ended up having to stay admitted in their hospital for about 2-3 weeks as per doctors orders ( a second stroke can be triggered by flying. ) once landing i picked her up from the airport & immediately brought her to a hospital nearby our home. since they barely did anything for her while she was in barbados, the staff at the hospital told us that they’d be treating her as if it just now happened. she stayed at this hospital for about a week or two & then was transferred to a different hospital closer to our hour which specializes in the help that she needs for her stroke such as physical therapy speech therapy etc. she stayed in the hospital for about a month & some change. when she finally was discharged it was a bit difficult for us at home. at home is myself, i’m 26 years old, my little sister who is 15, and my mother’s boyfriend. due to my mother being home from the hospital now since february my step father has not been able to go to work. my mom receives disability from the state which can’t even cover one bill in our home. she receives about $200 weekly. prior to the stroke my mother & my step father took care of the bills as well as myself, however they paid majority which includes the mortgage, gas, water, property taxes etc. the mortgage is months past due, our gas has been cut off already. it’s just so much stress. we are also in the process of trying to find an aide that can assist my mother throughout the day so that my step father can at least be able to go to work. if there’s anything that anyone can donate it would be greatly appreciated.
