Dear St. Peter’s Church Family, We are reaching out to share an opportunity to support our dear friend Glenn during this current challenging season. Due to recent insurance changes, Glenn might be losing the home care assistance that has helped him remain safe and independent in his home. Glenn’s caregiver has been a tremendous blessing in his life — preparing his meals, helping with laundry, organizing his schedule, maintaining his home, and assisting with everyday needs that have become difficult for him to manage alone. Losing this support would deeply impact his health, independence, and quality of life. To help ease this transition, we are organizing a Meal Train so Glenn can receive nourishing meals and encouragement from his church family. If you are able, please consider signing up to bring a meal, send encouragement, or simply keep Glen in your prayers. Glenn enjoys all kinds of food, and while he has no major food dislikes, he is diabetic, so balanced, lower-sugar meal options are appreciated. Homemade meals or restaurant deliveries are wonderful ways to help. We are also starting a fundraiser to help Glen continue receiving this vital care while longer-term solutions are explored. Our hope is to keep this trusted caregiver in place so Glen can maintain his independence and quality of life in the familiar place he loves, surrounded by his memories and neighbors. Thank you for being the hands and feet of Christ and for showing Glen the love that defines St. Peter’s.
Glenn is diabetic.
