Supporting Daniel and Selah/Ella after Daniel's Stroke

W
Story

Daniel had a stroke last Thursday morning. While his prognosis is good, he'll be in the hospital for a few more days before heading to rehab for approximately four weeks after that. Many people have asked how they can help, so I set up this meal train to provide an easy avenue of support! Daniel does most of the grocery shopping and cooking for the household. Selah has ME/CFS, which makes that amount of physical and mental load especially hard for her to take on right now, especially on top of everything else she's managing while still supporting Daniel. Let's take one thing off her plate so she can focus her energy on him and dealing with insurance, Initially, this meal train will provide dinners for the family, starting Monday, August 24 though Sunday, September 6 (covering the rest of Daniel's hospital stay and the beginning of his time in rehab). After that point, it will be updated to reflect their needs once Daniel is adjusted to rehab. If you're unable to provide a physical meal for whatever reason, you can always add a gift card to a food delivery service or Selah's Venmo is added above. If you have any questions, please direct your questions here! Thank you, Emily (friend of Selah)
