After a long four-month battle with declining health, her firstborn daughter, Jocelyn, sadly passed away on August 3rd. During those four months, she faithfully remained by Jocelyn’s bedside, caring for her and being present throughout her final days. Unfortunately, the flexibility she needed to care for her daughter, manage medical responsibilities, and ultimately plan and prepare for Jocelyn’s funeral and burial was not accommodated by her employers, and she lost her jobs. She is now without employment while also grieving the unimaginable loss of her daughter and caring for her other children. During this difficult season, one practical way we can surround her family with love is by making sure meals are one less thing she has to worry about.
